What We're About
We believe that planning for the future of our town and county in the beautiful Hudson Valley should be based on a vision shared by all, regardless of political party. As the nation continues to polarize, we don't have to - we are too close to our neighbors, and share too much, to act as enemies.
We believe that:
- Out local government works for everyone
- Public participation in government is essential
- We may not agree, but we can still solve problems together
- Local governance must be completely tranparent to be trusted
- Citizen committees offer better advisement to our local representatives than 'consultants' on retainers
- Our candidates in local elections should look to the future, not attack the way things have been in the past
